Setting up VPN access on Google Chrome OS.
Chrome OS has had major issues with OpenVPN connections, and support has been very limited from the development team. However, it is now possible to create an OpenVPN connection on Google Chrome OS, and Chromebook systems, so much so we would recommended this as the default VPN connection to setup on Chrome OS systems. We have tried to make this connection as easy as possible for you to setup, there is minimal configuration to carry out. Having said that, the setup is not exactly straight forward, creating an OpenVPN connection does require two file imports, so if you have any problems configuring this connection please stick to a native L2TP connection. We do recommend you try this connection first, if you follow our tutorial to the letter you should be connected through OpenVPN in no time at all.
